We're lucky enough to be set in the midst of Cheshire and have some beautiful walks right on our doorstep.

BUNBURY MILL AND VILLAGE

2.5 MILES: EASY

A pleasant stroll through fields to a working watermill, returning via the historic church and pretty cottages of Bunbury. 

Field paths may be muddy after rain. Several stiles. Allow 1–2 hours plus time for sightseeing.

Bunbury Watermill is open to visitors on Sunday afternoons and Bank Holiday Mondays from April to October.

BEESTON CASTLE

6 MILES: MODERATE

A field walk to the pretty village of Beeston, with views of Peckforton and Beeston Castles returning via Bunbury church and village.

Field paths may be muddy after rain and may not be reinstated after ploughing. Numerous stiles. A fee is payable to visit Beeston Castle and you need to book in advance (£9 per adult as of 2020). There is a fairly short but steep climb to the castle keep.  

 

Allow 3 hours plus sightseeing time.
